청원경찰법 제6조(청원경찰경비)

① 청원주는 다음 각 호의 청원경찰경비를 부담하여야 한다.

② 국가기관 또는 지방자치단체에 근무하는 청원경찰의 보수는 다음 각 호의 구분에 따라 같은 재직기간에 해당하는 경찰공무원의 보수를 감안하여 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2014.12.30>

③ 청원주의 제1항제1호에 따른 봉급ㆍ수당의 최저부담기준액(국가기관 또는 지방자치단체에 근무하는 청원경찰의 봉급ㆍ수당은 제외한다)과 같은 항 제2호 및 제3호에 따른 비용의 부담기준액은 경찰청장이 정하여 고시(告示)한다.
