지방자치분권 및 균형성장에 관한 특별법 제28조(지역혁신융복합단지의 육성)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 지역혁신융복합단지에서 국내외 기업의 투자촉진을 위한 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원, 대학ㆍ연구소ㆍ기업이 공동으로 참여하는 연구개발 지원 및 신산업 육성을 위하여 필요한 제도적 여건 조성 등에 관한 시책을 추진하여야 한다.

② 지방시대위원회는 제1항의 시책을 소관으로 하는 중앙행정기관의 장에게 해당 시책에 대한 추진계획의 제출을 요구할 수 있다. 이 경우 요구를 받은 중앙행정기관의 장은 대통령령으로 정하는 특별한 사유가 없으면 요구에 따라야 한다.

③ 지역혁신융복합단지에 입주한 사업자는 해당 단지 내에서의 제22조제2항 각 호의 승인ㆍ허가 신청 사무에 대한 지원을 제67조제2항에 따른 시ㆍ도 지방시대지원단에 요구할 수 있다. 이 경우 시ㆍ도 지방시대지원단은 대통령령으로 정하는 절차ㆍ방식에 따라 해당 사무를 지원하여야 한다.

④ 지역혁신융복합단지에 입주한 사업자로부터 해당 단지 내에서의 제22조제2항 각 호의 승인ㆍ허가 신청을 받은 기관의 장은 다른 법령에도 불구하고 대통령령으로 정하는 기간 내에 이를 처리하여야 하며, 기간 내에 처리하지 아니한 경우에는 그 기간이 끝난 날의 다음 날에 승인ㆍ허가를 한 것으로 본다.

⑤ 지방자치단체는 지역혁신융복합단지에 입주한 사업자에 대하여 「지방세특례제한법」 및 조례로 정하는 바에 따라 지방세를 감면할 수 있다.
