전남광주통합특별시 설치를 위한 특별법 제82조(지역전략산업 분야 학교 및 교육과정 운영의 특례)

① 통합특별시장과 통합특별시교육감은 우주항공, 인공지능, 미래 모빌리티 등 지역의 특화된 분야의 전문인력 양성과 산학연 협력 강화를 위하여 「초ㆍ중등교육법」, 「산업교육진흥 및 산학연협력촉진에 관한 법률」 등 관계 법령에도 불구하고 관할구역 내 산업수요 맞춤형 고등학교의 지정 또는 특성화고등학교의 운영에 있어 관계 법령에 따른 기준을 달리 적용할 필요가 있다고 인정하는 경우에는 교육부장관에게 해당 학교의 지정 또는 운영에 관한 특례의 적용을 요청할 수 있다.

② 제1항에 따라 통합특별시장이 산업수요 맞춤형 고등학교를 지정 또는 지정 취소하려는 경우에는 사전에 통합특별시교육감과 협의하여야 한다.

③ 통합특별시장 또는 통합특별시교육감은 지역 특화 분야 전문인력 양성과 산학연 협력 강화를 위하여 「초ㆍ중등교육법」에 따른 산업수요 맞춤형 고등학교와 특성화고등학교의 운영에 있어 「초ㆍ중등교육법」, 「산업교육진흥 및 산학연협력촉진에 관한 법률」 등 관계 법령에 따른 기준을 달리 적용할 필요가 있다고 인정하는 경우에는 교육부장관에게 해당 학교의 운영에 관한 특례의 적용을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 교육부장관은 지역전략산업 분야 특화 교육의 필요성이 인정되는 경우, 관계 법령에서 정하는 기준에 따라 통합특별시교육감이 산업수요 맞춤형 고등학교 또는 특성화고등학교를 운영할 수 있도록 승인할 수 있다.

④ 통합특별시장과 통합특별시교육감은 지역전략산업 분야의 인재 양성 및 산학연 협력 활성화를 위하여 통합특별시 관할구역에 대학, 연구기관, 기업 등이 공동으로 입주할 수 있는 교육ㆍ연구 복합시설 및 캠퍼스(이하 "지역산업혁신 캠퍼스"라 한다)를 조성ㆍ운영할 수 있다.

⑤ 통합특별시장과 통합특별시교육감은 지역산업혁신 캠퍼스의 조성ㆍ운영과 산업수요 맞춤형 고등학교 또는 특성화고등학교, 대학 및 산업체 간 연계 교육과정 운영, 전문인력 양성 프로그램에 대하여 행정적ㆍ재정적 지원을 할 수 있다.

⑥ 제3항부터 제5항까지에 따른 학교의 운영에 관한 특례의 적용 요청, 대학 및 산업체 간 연계 교육과정 운영, 관계 기관 간 역할 분담에 관한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
