원자력안전위원회의 설치 및 운영에 관한 법률 제6조(위원장)

① 위원장은 위원회를 대표하고, 위원회의 회의를 주재하며, 소관 사무를 총괄한다.

② 위원장은 필요한 경우에는 국무회의에 출석하여 발언할 수 있으며, 그 소관 사무에 관하여 국무총리에게 의안의 제출을 건의할 수 있다.

(2) The^ð더 chairperson체어퍼슨 may,메이 where웨어 necessary,네서세^r리 attend어텐드 meetings미팅즈 of어^v브 the^ð더 State스테잇 Council카운슬 and앤드 speak,스픽 and앤드 may메이 recommend^r레커멘드 to투 the^ð더 Prime프^r라임 Minister미너스터 the^ð더 submission서브미션 of어^v브 bills빌즈 concerning컨서닝 the^ð디 affairs어^f페어즈 under언더 its잇츠 jurisdiction.주^r러스딕션

③ 위원장은 국회에 출석하여 위원회의 소관 사무에 관하여 의견을 진술할 수 있으며, 국회의 요구가 있을 때에는 출석하여 보고하거나 답변하여야 한다.

④ 위원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 상임위원인 위원이 그 직무를 대행하고, 상임위원이 모두 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없을 때에는 위원회가 미리 정한 위원이 위원장의 직무를 대행한다. <개정 2013.3.23>

⑤ 국회는 위원장이 그 직무를 집행함에 있어 헌법이나 법률을 위반한 때에는 탄핵의 소추를 의결할 수 있다.
