연안사고 예방에 관한 법률 제12조(연안체험활동 신고)

① 연안체험활동 운영자는 해양수산부령으로 정하는 절차와 방법에 따라 해양경찰서장에게 연안체험활동 안전관리 계획서(이하 "계획서"라 한다)를 작성하여 신고하여야 한다. 다만, 다음 각 호의 경우는 제외한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.4.18, 2017.7.26, 2021.4.13>

⑤ 해양경찰서장이 제4항에서 정한 기간 내에 신고수리 여부 또는 민원 처리 관련 법령에 따른 처리기간의 연장을 신고인에게 통지하지 아니하면 그 기간(민원 처리 관련 법령에 따라 처리기간이 연장 또는 재연장된 경우에는 해당 처리기간을 말한다)이 끝난 날의 다음 날에 신고를 수리한 것으로 본다. <신설 2020.2.18>

⑥ 해양경찰서장은 계획서의 신고를 수리한 경우(제5항에 따라 신고를 수리한 것으로 보는 경우를 포함한다)에는 그 사실을 특별자치도지사ㆍ시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장에게 통보하여야 한다. <신설 2020.2.18>

⑦ 연안체험활동 운영자 또는 안전관리요원은 연안체험활동 관련 사고로 사람이 사망하거나 실종된 경우 또는 중상을 입은 경우에는 해양수산부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 지체 없이 해양경찰관서나 소방관서 또는 경찰관서 등 관계 행정기관에 신고하여야 한다. <신설 2021.4.13>
