연구산업진흥법 제13조(협회의 설립)

① 연구사업자는 연구산업의 역량 강화와 기반 조성 등을 위하여 과학기술정보통신부장관의 인가를 받아 연구산업협회(이하 "협회"라 한다)를 설립할 수 있다.

② 협회의 업무와 정관 기재사항, 인가 절차 및 협회의 감독에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.

③ 협회에 관하여 이 법에서 규정한 사항을 제외하고는 「민법」 중 사단법인에 관한 규정을 준용한다.
