실종아동등의 보호 및 지원에 관한 법률 제7조의3(실종아동등의 지문등정보의 등록ㆍ관리)

① 경찰청장은 보호시설의 입소자 중 보호자가 확인되지 아니한 아동등으로부터 서면동의를 받아 아동등의 지문등정보를 등록ㆍ관리할 수 있다. 이 경우 해당 아동등이 미성년자ㆍ심신상실자 또는 심신미약자인 때에는 본인 외에 법정대리인의 동의를 받아야 한다. 다만, 심신상실ㆍ심신미약 또는 의사무능력 등의 사유로 본인의 동의를 얻을 수 없는 때에는 본인의 동의를 생략할 수 있다.

② 경찰청장은 제1항에 따른 지문등정보의 등록ㆍ관리를 위하여 제7조의2제3항에 따른 데이터베이스를 활용할 수 있다. <개정 2017.10.24>
