승강기 안전관리법 제51조(기술자의 경력 신고 등)

① 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 업무에 종사하는 기술자로서 대통령령으로 정하는 기술자(이하 "기술자"라 한다)는 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 근무처ㆍ경력 및 자격 등(이하 "경력등"이라 한다)에 관한 사항을 행정안전부장관에게 신고하여야 한다. 신고한 사항이 변경되었을 때에도 또한 같다.

② 행정안전부장관은 제1항에 따라 신고받은 기술자의 경력등에 관한 사항을 관리하여야 하며, 기술자의 신청을 받은 경우에는 기술자의 경력등에 관한 증명서를 발급하여야 한다.

③ 행정안전부장관은 제1항에 따라 신고받은 내용의 확인을 위하여 필요한 경우 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 제55조에 따른 한국승강기안전공단과 해당 기술자가 소속된 지정인증기관ㆍ지정검사기관 및 승강기사업자 등에 대하여 필요한 자료의 제출을 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 요청을 받은 자는 특별한 사유가 없으면 요청에 따라야 한다.

④ 기술자는 제1항에 따른 신고 또는 변경신고를 할 때에 경력등을 거짓으로 신고하여서는 아니 된다.

⑤ 제1항부터 제4항까지에서 규정한 사항 외에 기술자의 신고 및 증명서의 발급ㆍ관리 등에 필요한 사항은 행정안전부령으로 정한다.
