수상레저안전법 시행규칙 제23조(안전장비의 착용)

① 수상레저활동을 하는 사람은 법 제20조에 따라 구명조끼를 착용해야 하며, 영 제2조제2항제6호에 따른 워터슬레이드를 사용하여 수상레저활동 또는 래프팅을 할 때에는 구명조끼와 함께 안전모를 착용해야 한다. 다만, 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 구명조끼 대신 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 안전장비를 착용할 수 있다. <개정 2025.6.9>

② 제1항에도 불구하고 관할 해양경찰서장 또는 특별자치시장ㆍ제주특별자치도지사ㆍ시장ㆍ군수 및 구청장(구청장은 자치구의 구청장을, 서울특별시의 관할구역에 있는 한강의 경우에는 서울특별시의 한강 관리에 관한 업무를 관장하는 기관의 장을 말하며, 이하 "시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장"이라 한다)은 수상레저활동의 형태, 수상레저기구의 종류 및 날씨 등을 고려하여 수상레저활동을 하는 사람이 착용해야 하는 구명조끼ㆍ구명복 또는 안전모 등의 인명안전장비의 종류를 특정하여 착용 등의 지시를 할 수 있다. <개정 2025.6.9>

③ 관할 해양경찰서장 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 제2항에 따른 지시를 할 때에는 사람이 보기 쉬운 장소에 그 내용을 게시해야 한다. <개정 2025.6.9>
