수산업협동조합법 제142조(중앙회의 지도)

① 회장은 이 법에서 정하는 바에 따라 회원을 지도하며 이에 필요한 규약ㆍ규정 또는 예규 등을 정할 수 있다.

② 회장은 회원의 경영 상태를 평가하고 그 결과에 따라 회원에게 경영 개선을 요구하거나 합병을 권고하는 등 필요한 조치를 할 수 있다. 이 경우 회원조합장은 그 조치 결과를 조합의 이사회ㆍ총회 및 회장에게 보고하여야 한다.

③ 회장은 회원의 건전한 업무 운영과 회원의 조합원 또는 제3자의 보호를 위하여 필요하다고 인정할 때에는 해당 업무에 관하여 해양수산부장관에게 다음 각 호의 처분을 하여 줄 것을 요청할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23>
