소음ㆍ진동관리법 제35조(운행차 소음허용기준)

① 자동차의 소유자는 그 자동차에서 배출되는 소음이 대통령령으로 정하는 운행차 소음허용기준에 적합하게 운행하거나 운행하게 하여야 하며, 소음기(消音器)나 소음덮개를 떼어 버리거나 경음기(警音器)를 추가로 붙여서는 아니 된다. <개정 2022.12.30>

② 이륜자동차의 소유자는 제31조제1항 및 제2항에 따라 인증ㆍ변경인증을 받은 배기소음 결과 값보다 5데시벨[dB(A)]을 초과하지 아니하도록 운행하거나 운행하게 하여야 한다. <신설 2022.12.30>
