소방시설 설치 및 관리에 관한 법률 제55조(위반행위의 신고 및 신고포상금의 지급)

① 누구든지 소방본부장 또는 소방서장에게 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 행위를 한 자를 신고할 수 있다.

② 소방본부장 또는 소방서장은 제1항에 따른 신고를 받은 경우 신고 내용을 확인하여 이를 신속하게 처리하고, 그 처리결과를 행정안전부령으로 정하는 방법 및 절차에 따라 신고자에게 통지하여야 한다.

③ 소방본부장 또는 소방서장은 제1항에 따른 신고를 한 사람에게 예산의 범위에서 포상금을 지급할 수 있다.

④ 제3항에 따른 신고포상금의 지급대상, 지급기준, 지급절차 등에 필요한 사항은 시ㆍ도의 조례로 정한다.
