상급 경찰관서 수사부서의 장은 신분비공개수사 또는 신분위장수사를 승인하거나 보고받은 경우 사법경찰관리에게 수사에 필요한 인적ㆍ물적 지원을 하고, 전문지식과 피해자 보호를 위한 수사방법 및 수사절차 등에 관한 교육을 실시하여야 한다.
