Act on the Conservation and Use of Biological Diversity, Article 20 (Protection of Traditional Knowledge, etc.)
정부는 전통지식의 보전 및 이용을 촉진하기 위하여 다음 각 호의 시책을 추진하여야 한다.
To promote the conservation and use of traditional knowledge, the Government shall pursue the following measures:
1. 개인과 지역사회의 전통지식 발굴ㆍ연구 및 보호
1. Discovery, research and protection of traditional knowledge of individuals and local communities;
2. 전통지식 정보수집 및 관리시스템 구축
2. Building a system for collecting and managing traditional knowledge information; and
3. 전통지식 활용을 위한 기반 구축
3. Building a foundation for the use of traditional knowledge.
