상법 제680조(손해방지의무)

①보험계약자와 피보험자는 손해의 방지와 경감을 위하여 노력하여야 한다. 그러나 이를 위하여 필요 또는 유익하였던 비용과 보상액이 보험금액을 초과한 경우라도 보험자가 이를 부담한다. <개정 1991.12.31>
