부패방지 및 국민권익위원회의 설치와 운영에 관한 법률 제64조의2(신변보호조치)

① 신고자는 신고를 한 이유로 자신과 친족 또는 동거인의 신변에 불안이 있는 경우에는 위원회에 신변보호조치를 요구할 수 있다. 이 경우 위원회는 필요하다고 인정한 때에는 경찰청장, 관할 시ㆍ도경찰청장, 관할 경찰서장에게 신변보호조치를 요구할 수 있다. <개정 2020.12.22>

② 제1항에 따른 신변보호조치를 요구받은 경찰청장, 관할 시ㆍ도경찰청장, 관할 경찰서장은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 즉시 신변보호조치를 하여야 한다. <개정 2020.12.22>

③ 신고자가 신고를 이유로 피해를 입거나 입을 우려가 있다고 인정할 만한 상당한 이유가 있는 경우 해당 신고와 관련한 조사 및 형사절차에서 「특정범죄신고자 등 보호법」 제7조(인적 사항의 기재 생략) 및 제9조(신원관리카드의 열람)부터 제12조(소송진행의 협의 등)까지의 규정을 준용한다.
