법원조직법 제54조의3(조사관)

① 대법원과 각급 법원에 조사관을 둘 수 있다.

② 조사관은 법관의 명을 받아 법률 또는 대법원규칙으로 정하는 사건에 관한 심판에 필요한 자료를 수집ㆍ조사하고, 그 밖에 필요한 업무를 담당한다.

③ 대법원장은 다른 국가기관에 대하여 그 소속 공무원을 조사관으로 근무하게 하기 위하여 법원에의 파견근무를 요청할 수 있다.

④ 조사관의 자격, 직제 및 인원과 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 대법원규칙으로 정한다.
