Act on the Protection of the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, Article 11-2 (Resident Support Projects)

① 산림청장과 지방자치단체의 장은 보호지역(보호지역에 일부가 포함되는 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동의 행정구역을 포함한다)에 거주하는 주민 또는 보호지역에 토지를 소유하고 있는 자에 대한 지원사업(이하 "주민지원사업"이라 한다)에 관한 계획을 수립ㆍ시행하여야 한다.

② 주민지원사업의 종류는 다음 각 호와 같다.

③ 산림청장은 백두대간을 효과적으로 보호ㆍ관리하기 위하여 필요한 경우 제1항 및 제2항에 따른 주민지원사업의 대상자 또는 지원 혜택을 받은 자에게 백두대간 보호ㆍ관리활동 참여를 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 산림청장은 보호ㆍ관리활동에 필요한 사항을 지원할 수 있다. <신설 2020.5.26>

④ 산림청장은 보호지역에 거주하는 주민의 생활환경 개선과 복리 증진을 위하여 실태조사를 거쳐 관리계획을 수립하고 이에 필요한 사업에 소요되는 예산을 다른 사업에 우선하여 지원하거나 관계 행정기관의 장에게 지원을 요청할 수 있다. <신설 2020.5.26>
