배타적 경제수역 및 대륙붕에 관한 법률 제2조(배타적 경제수역과 대륙붕의 범위)

① 대한민국의 배타적 경제수역은 협약에 따라 「영해 및 접속수역법」 제2조에 따른 기선(基線)(이하 "기선"이라 한다)으로부터 그 바깥쪽 200해리의 선까지에 이르는 수역 중 대한민국의 영해를 제외한 수역으로 한다. <개정 2017.3.21>

② 대한민국의 대륙붕은 협약에 따라 영해 밖으로 영토의 자연적 연장에 따른 대륙변계(大陸邊界)의 바깥 끝까지 또는 대륙변계의 바깥 끝이 200해리에 미치지 아니하는 경우에는 기선으로부터 200해리까지의 해저지역의 해저와 그 하층토로 이루어진다. 다만, 대륙변계가 기선으로부터 200해리 밖까지 확장되는 곳에서는 협약에 따라 정한다. <신설 2017.3.21>

③ 대한민국과 마주 보고 있거나 인접하고 있는 국가(이하 "관계국"이라 한다) 간의 배타적 경제수역과 대륙붕의 경계는 제1항 및 제2항에도 불구하고 국제법을 기초로 관계국과의 합의에 따라 획정한다. <개정 2017.3.21>
