배타적 경제수역 및 대륙붕에 관한 법률 제1조(목적)

이 법은 「해양법에 관한 국제연합 협약」(이하 "협약"이라 한다)에 따라 배타적 경제수역과 대륙붕에 관하여 대한민국이 행사하는 주권적 권리와 관할권 등을 규정하여 대한민국의 해양권익을 보호하고 국제해양질서 확립에 기여함을 목적으로 한다.
