Framework Act on the Development of Broadcasting and Communications, Article 8 (Formulation of Basic Plan for Broadcasting and Communications)

① 과학기술정보통신부장관과 방송미디어통신위원회는 방송통신을 통한 국민의 복리 향상과 방송통신의 원활한 발전을 위하여 방송통신기본계획(이하 "기본계획"이라 한다)을 수립하고 이를 공고하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26, 2025.10.1>

(1) The^ð더 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 Science사이언스 and앤드 ICT아이크트 and앤드 the^ð더 Media미디아 and앤드 Communications커뮤너케이션즈 Commission커미션 shall섈 formulate^f포뮬레잇 and앤드 publicly퍼블리클리 announce어나운스 a어 basic베이식 plan플랜 for^f포 broadcasting브^r로드캐스팅 and앤드 communications커뮤너케이션즈 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð더 "basic베이식 plan")플랜 to투 improve임프^r루^v브 citizens'시터즌즈 welfare웰^f페어 through^θ쓰^r루 broadcasting브^r로드캐스팅 and앤드 communications커뮤너케이션즈 and앤드 to투 ensure엔슈어 the^ð더 smooth스무^ð드 development디^v벨럽먼트 of어^v브 broadcasting브^r로드캐스팅 and앤드 communications.커뮤너케이션즈

② 기본계획에는 다음 각 호의 사항이 포함되어야 한다.

③ 제2항제2호 및 제4호의 구체적 범위에 관하여는 과학기술정보통신부장관과 문화체육관광부장관 및 방송미디어통신위원회의 협의를 거쳐 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26, 2025.10.1>
