① 과학기술정보통신부장관은 협회 또는 조합의 관리ㆍ감독에 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 그 업무를 보고하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26>

② 과학기술정보통신부장관은 협회나 조합의 업무 또는 회계가 법령이나 정관을 위반한다고 인정하는 경우에는 관련 서류 및 장부 등을 소속 공무원으로 하여금 검사하게 할 수 있다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26>

③ 과학기술정보통신부장관은 조합의 회계업무가 법령이나 정관에 위반된다고 인정하는 경우에는 금융위원회에 회계검사를 요청할 수 있다. 이 경우 금융위원회는 특별한 사유가 없으면 소속 직원 또는 「금융위원회의 설치 등에 관한 법률」에 따른 금융감독원의 원장으로 하여금 검사를 하게 하고, 그 결과를 과학기술정보통신부장관에게 통지하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26>
