발전소주변지역 지원에 관한 법률 제14조(지원금의 사용)

① 지원금은 제10조제2항에 따라 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 주변지역에 사용한다. 다만, 지원사업의 효율적인 시행이나 지역의 균형 있는 발전 등을 위하여 대통령령으로 정하는 경우에는 주변지역이 속한 지방자치단체의 주변지역 외의 지역에 대하여 지원금을 사용할 수 있다. 이 경우 지원되는 사업의 종류와 지원금의 한도 등 구체적인 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.

② 주변지역을 관할하는 지방자치단체가 둘 이상이면 그 지역에 대한 지방자치단체의 관할 면적비율, 인구비율, 발전소로부터의 거리, 소재지 등을 고려하여 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 지원금을 사용한다. 다만, 그 지역의 특수성에 비추어 대통령령으로 정하는 부득이한 사유가 있는 경우에는 기후에너지환경부장관이 필요하다고 인정하는 지역에 지원금을 사용할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>
