모자보건법 제3조(국가와 지방자치단체의 책임)

① 국가와 지방자치단체는 모성과 영유아의 건강을 유지ㆍ증진하기 위한 조사ㆍ연구와 그 밖에 필요한 조치를 하여야 한다.

③ 국가와 지방자치단체는 임신ㆍ출산 및 양육에 관한 정보의 제공, 교육 및 홍보를 실시하기 위하여 필요한 기관을 설치하거나 그 업무를 관계 기관에 위탁할 수 있다. <신설 2026.6.9>
