도시가스사업법 제27조(가스시설의 개선명령 등)

① 산업통상부장관 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 가스공급시설이나 가스사용시설이 제12조제2항에 따른 시설별 시설기준과 기술기준에 적합하지 아니하다고 인정하면 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 해당 도시가스사업자나 가스사용자에게 그 기준에 적합하도록 가스공급시설이나 가스사용시설의 수리ㆍ개선ㆍ이전을 명하거나 도시가스의 공급중지ㆍ제한, 가스공급시설이나 가스사용시설의 사용정지ㆍ제한 등 위해를 방지하기 위하여 필요한 조치를 명할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2009.3.25, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

② 산업통상부장관 또는 시장ㆍ군수ㆍ구청장은 공공의 안전을 유지하기 위하여 긴급ㆍ부득이하다고 인정하면 도시가스사업자에게 그 가스공급시설의 이전, 사용의 정지 또는 제한을 명하거나 가스공급시설 안에 있는 도시가스의 폐기를 명할 수 있다. 이 경우 도시가스사업자에게 발생한 손실에 대하여는 천재지변ㆍ전쟁, 그 밖의 불가항력의 사유로 인한 경우 외에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 정당한 보상을 하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2009.3.25, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>
