도로교통법 제71조(도로의 위법 인공구조물에 대한 조치)

① 경찰서장은 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람에 대하여 위반행위를 시정하도록 하거나 그 위반행위로 인하여 생긴 교통장해를 제거할 것을 명할 수 있다. <개정 2014.1.14>

② 경찰서장은 제1항 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람의 성명ㆍ주소를 알지 못하여 제1항에 따른 조치를 명할 수 없을 때에는 스스로 그 인공구조물 등을 제거하는 등 조치를 한 후 보관하여야 한다. 이 경우 닳아 없어지거나 파괴될 우려가 있거나 보관하는 것이 매우 곤란한 인공구조물 등은 매각하여 그 대금을 보관할 수 있다.

③ 제2항에 따른 인공구조물 등의 보관 및 매각 등에 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
