기상법 제35조(예보관 등 기상업무 종사자에 대한 교육)

① 기상청장은 예보관을 육성하기 위하여 기본교육을 실시하고, 예보관이 업무 수행에 필요한 전문적인 지식 및 기술을 습득할 수 있도록 전문교육을 실시하여야 한다. <신설 2023.2.14>

② 예보관은 정기적으로 업무 수행에 필요한 전문교육을 받아야 한다. <신설 2023.2.14>

(2) Forecasters^f포캐스터즈 shall섈 periodically피^r리아디컬리 receive^r러시^v브 specialized스페셜라이즈드 education에저케이션 necessary네서세^r리 for^f포 performing퍼^f포밍 their^ð데어 duties.두티즈

③ 기상청장은 기상업무에 대한 이해 제고 및 기상업무의 표준화를 위하여 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 사람에 대하여 교육을 실시할 수 있다. <개정 2023.2.14>

④ 제3항제1호 및 제4호에 해당하는 사람 중 기상정보를 이용하여 기상재해 예방 및 대응업무를 담당하는 사람은 기상청장이 실시하는 기상재해 관련 전문교육을 받아야 한다. 다만, 「재난 및 안전관리 기본법」 등 다른 법령에 따라 기상재해 관련 교육을 이수한 사람은 해당 전문교육 대상에서 제외할 수 있다. <개정 2023.2.14>

⑤ 제3항제1호 및 제4호에 해당하는 사람 중 기후정보를 이용하여 기후변화 관련 업무를 담당하는 사람은 기상청장이 실시하는 기후변화 관련 전문교육을 받아야 한다. <신설 2023.2.14>
