금융산업의 구조개선에 관한 법률 제9조의2(금융체계상 중요한 금융기관의 선정)

① 금융위원회는 금융기관의 기능과 규모, 다른 금융기관과의 연계성 및 국내 금융시장에 미치는 영향력 등을 고려하여 대통령령으로 정하는 종류의 금융기관(그 자회사를 포함한다. 이하 이 장에서 같다) 중 매년 국내 금융시스템 측면에서 중요한 금융기관(이하 "금융체계상 중요한 금융기관"이라 한다)을 선정하여야 한다.

② 금융위원회는 제1항에 따라 금융체계상 중요한 금융기관을 선정한 경우 지체 없이 해당 금융체계상 중요한 금융기관에 그 사실을 통보하여야 한다.

③ 제1항에 따른 금융체계상 중요한 금융기관의 선정을 위한 금융기관의 기능 및 규모, 다른 금융기관과의 연계성 등 선정기준의 구체적인 내용에 관하여는 대통령령으로 정한다.
