군인연금법 제19조(급여의 조정)

① 퇴역연금을 받을 권리가 있는 사람이 본인의 퇴역연금 외에 퇴역유족연금을 함께 받게 된 경우에는 퇴역유족연금액의 2분의 1을 빼고 지급한다.

② 퇴역연금ㆍ퇴직연금 또는 조기퇴직연금을 받던 사람이 제5조 및 제6조에 따른 복무기간 합산을 받았다가 다시 퇴직하거나 사망한 경우에는 퇴역연금[제21조에 따른 퇴역연금공제일시금(이하 "퇴역연금공제일시금"이라 한다)을 포함한다] 또는 퇴역유족연금[제33조에 따른 퇴역유족연금부가금(이하 "퇴역유족연금부가금"이라 한다)을 포함한다]만을 받을 수 있으며, 이를 갈음하여 제21조에 따른 퇴역연금일시금(이하 "퇴역연금일시금"이라 한다) 또는 제34조에 따른 퇴역유족연금일시금(이하 "퇴역유족연금일시금"이라 한다)을 받을 수 없다.
