국회법 제157조(징계의 요구 또는 회부의 시한 등)

① 의장은 다음 각 호에 해당하는 날부터 폐회 또는 휴회 기간을 제외한 3일 이내에 윤리특별위원회에 징계(제155조제10호에 해당하여 요구되는 징계는 제외한다. 이하 이 항에서 같다) 요구를 회부하여야 한다. 다만, 윤리특별위원회가 구성되지 아니하여 본문에 따른 기간 내에 징계 요구를 회부할 수 없을 때에는 제46조에 따라 윤리특별위원회가 구성된 날부터 폐회 또는 휴회 기간을 제외하고 3일 이내에 징계 요구를 회부하여야 한다. <개정 2018.7.17>

② 제156조제2항에 따른 위원장의 징계대상자 보고와 같은 조 제3항ㆍ제4항 및 제6항에 따른 징계 요구는 그 사유가 발생한 날 또는 그 징계대상자가 있는 것을 알게 된 날부터 10일 이내에 하여야 한다. 다만, 폐회기간 중에 그 징계대상자가 있을 경우에는 다음 회 국회의 집회일부터 3일 이내에 하여야 한다.
