고압가스 안전관리법 제20조(사용신고 등)

① 수소ㆍ산소ㆍ액화암모니아ㆍ아세틸렌ㆍ액화염소ㆍ천연가스ㆍ압축모노실란ㆍ압축디보레인ㆍ액화알진, 그 밖에 대통령령으로 정하는 고압가스(이하 "특정고압가스"라 한다)를 사용하려는 자로서 일정규모 이상의 저장능력을 가진 자 등 산업통상부령으로 정하는 자는 특정고압가스를 사용하기 전에 미리 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. 다만, 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 자로서 허가받은 내용이나 등록한 내용에 특정고압가스의 사용에 관한 사항이 포함되어 있으면 특정고압가스 사용의 신고를 한 것으로 본다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2009.5.21, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

② 제1항 본문에 따른 신고를 받은 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장은 7일 이내에 그 신고사항을 관할 소방서장에게 알려야 한다.

③ 특정고압가스를 사용하는 자는 산업통상부령으로 정하는 시설기준과 기술기준에 맞도록 그 특정고압가스의 사용시설을 갖추어야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2009.5.21, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

④ 제1항에 따라 신고를 하거나 신고를 한 것으로 보는 자(이하 "특정고압가스 사용신고자"라 한다)가 특정고압가스의 사용시설의 설치나 변경공사를 완공하면 그 시설의 사용 전에 신고를 받은 관청의 완성검사를 받아야 하며, 정기적으로 신고를 받은 관청의 정기검사를 받아야 한다.

⑤ 제4항에 따른 완성검사 및 정기검사의 기준과 기간, 그 밖에 필요한 사항은 산업통상부령으로 정한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

⑥ 고압가스제조자나 고압가스판매자가 특정고압가스를 공급할 때에는 다음 각 호의 사항을 확인하여야 한다. <신설 2018.12.11>

⑦ 고압가스제조자나 고압가스판매자가 제6항에 따른 확인을 한 결과 특정고압가스를 사용하는 자가 제1항에 따른 신고를 하지 아니하거나 제4항에 따른 사용시설의 완성검사 및 정기검사를 받지 아니한 경우에는 특정고압가스의 공급을 중지하고 지체 없이 그 사실을 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장에게 신고하여야 한다. <신설 2018.12.11>

⑧ 시장ㆍ군수 또는 구청장, 경찰서장이나 소방서장은 특정고압가스를 사용하는 자가 이 법 또는 이 법에 따른 명령을 위반하여 위해를 발생시킬 우려가 있다고 인정하면 특정고압가스의 사용을 일시 금지하거나 특정고압가스의 사용시설을 봉인(封印) 또는 임시 영치(領置)할 수 있다. <개정 2009.5.21, 2018.12.11>
