고압가스 안전관리법 제16조(검사 등)

① 제4조에 따른 허가를 받거나 신고를 한 자 또는 제5조의3에 따른 등록을 한 자가 고압가스의 제조ㆍ저장ㆍ판매 또는 수입시설의 설치공사나 변경공사를 할 때에는 산업통상부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 그 공사의 공정별(工程別)로 허가관청이나 신고관청의 중간검사를 받아야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

② 고압가스제조자 중 대통령령으로 정하는 종류와 규모 이상의 고압가스제조자가 제1항에 따른 고압가스 제조시설의 설치공사나 변경공사를 할 때에 제조소 경계 밖의 지하에 고압가스배관의 설치공사나 변경공사를 하는 경우에는 허가관청이나 신고관청의 감리(監理)를 받아야 한다.

③ 사업자등이 고압가스의 제조ㆍ저장ㆍ판매ㆍ수입의 시설이나 용기등의 제조시설의 설치공사 또는 변경공사를 완공한 때에는 그 시설을 사용하기 전에 허가관청ㆍ신고관청 또는 등록관청의 완성검사를 받고 합격한 후에 이를 사용하여야 한다. 다만, 제2항에 따라 감리를 받은 시설은 완성검사를 갈음하여 감리적합판정을 받아야 한다.

④ 허가관청ㆍ신고관청 또는 등록관청은 제2항과 제3항에도 불구하고 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 경우에는 사용방법과 기간을 정하여 해당 시설을 임시로 사용하게 할 수 있다. 이 경우 고압가스의 제조ㆍ저장 또는 판매시설은 정하여진 기간 이내로 제한하여 그 사용방법에 따라 사용하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2010.4.12, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>

⑤ 제2항에 따른 고압가스제조자는 지하 배관의 설치공사나 변경공사를 완공하면 산업통상부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 그 시공기록과 완공도면(전산보조기억장치에 입력되어 있으면 그 입력된 자료로 할 수 있다)을 작성ㆍ보존하여야 한다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2025.10.1>
