경찰대학 설치법 제10조(의무복무)

① 제8조에 따라 경찰공무원으로 임용된 사람은 6년간 경찰에 복무하여야 한다. 이 경우 의무복무기간의 기산일 등 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다. <개정 2020.12.22>

② 제1항에 따른 사람이 그 의무복무기간 중 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당할 때에는 제9조에 따라 지급한 학비와 그 밖의 모든 비용의 전부 또는 일부(이하 "경비"라 한다)를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 상환(償還)하여야 한다.

③ 경찰청장은 제2항에 따른 상환의무자가 경비를 상환하지 아니하면 국세 체납처분의 예에 따라 징수할 수 있다.

④ 경찰청장은 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 국공립대학교의 등록금(수업료, 그 밖의 납부금을 포함한다)을 감안하여 제2항에 따라 상환하여야 하는 경비를 산정하여야 한다. <신설 2011.5.30>

⑤ 경찰청장은 제4항에 따라 산정한 경비를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 매년 고시하여야 한다. <신설 2011.5.30>
