Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Performance of Duties by Police Officers, Article 7 (Reports)
경찰관은 다음의 조치를 한 때에는 소속 경찰관서의 장에게 이를 보고해야 한다. <개정 1989.3.7, 2006.6.29, 2020.12.31, 2024.9.19, 2026.6.30>
A police officer shall report to the head of the police office to which he or she belongs when he or she has taken any of the following measures:
1. 법 제3조제2항의 규정에 의한 동행요구를 한 때
1. Where he or she has requested accompaniment under Article 3 (2) of the Act;
2. 법 제4조제1항의 규정에 의한 긴급구호요청 또는 보호조치를 한 때
2. Where he or she has requested emergency relief or taken a protective measure under Article 4 (1) of the Act;
3. 법 제4조제3항의 규정에 의한 임시영치를 한 때
3. Where he or she has temporarily retained items under Article 4 (3) of the Act;
4. 법 제6조에 따라 범죄행위를 제지한 때
4. Where he or she has restrained a criminal act under Article 6 of the Act;
5. 법 제6조의2에 따라 같은 조 각 호의 행위를 제지한 때
5. Where he or she has restrained an act falling under any subparagraph of Article 6-2 of the Act pursuant to that Article;
6. 법 제7조제2항 및 제3항의 규정에 의하여 다수인이 출입하는 장소에 대하여 출입 또는 검색을 한 때
6. Where he or she has entered or searched a place frequented by many persons under Article 7 (2) and (3) of the Act;
7. 법 제8조제1항 단서의 규정에 의한 사실확인을 한 때
7. Where he or she has verified facts under the proviso of Article 8 (1) of the Act;
