경찰공무원 징계령 제7조(징계위원회의 회의)

① 징계위원회의 회의는 위원장과 징계위원회가 설치된 경찰기관의 장이 회의마다 지정하는 4명 이상 6명 이하의 위원으로 성별을 고려하여 구성하되, 민간위원의 수는 위원장을 포함한 위원 수의 2분의 1 이상이어야 한다. <신설 2020.6.16>

② 징계사유가 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 징계 사건이 속한 징계위원회의 회의를 구성하는 경우에는 피해자와 같은 성별의 위원이 위원장을 제외한 위원 수의 3분의 1 이상 포함되어야 한다. <신설 2022.3.15>

⑥ 위원장이 부득이한 사유로 직무를 수행할 수 없거나 위원장이 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 출석한 위원 중 최상위 계급 또는 이에 상응하는 직급에 있거나 최상위 계급 또는 이에 상응하는 직급에 먼저 승진임용된 공무원이 위원장이 된다. <개정 2020.6.16, 2022.3.15>
