경범죄 처벌법 시행령 제3조(범칙금의 납부 통고 등)

① 경찰서장, 해양경찰서장, 제주특별자치도지사 또는 철도특별사법경찰대장(이하 "경찰서장등"이라 한다)은 법 제7조에 따라 범칙자로 인정되는 사람에게 범칙금 납부를 통고할 때에는 다음 각 호의 사항을 적은 범칙금 납부통고서를 범칙금 영수증 및 범칙금 납부고지서와 함께 발부하고, 범칙금 납부고지서 발행원부와 범칙자 적발보고서를 작성하여야 한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

② 경찰서장등은 제1항에 따른 통고처분을 하였을 때에는 통고처분사항을 통고처분처리부에 기록하거나 전자매체를 통하여 전산으로 저장ㆍ관리하여야 한다.

③ 경찰서장 또는 해양경찰서장은 해당 경찰서의 관할구역 밖에 거주하는 범칙자로 인정되는 사람에게 범칙금 납부통고서를 발부한 경우에 범칙금 납부통고서를 받은 사람이 범칙금을 납부한 사실이 법 제8조제2항에 따라 범칙금을 납부할 수 있는 기간의 마지막 날(이하 "납부기간만료일"이라 한다)부터 5일이 지난 날까지 확인되지 아니할 때에는 그 날부터 3일 이내에 범칙자의 주소지를 관할하는 경찰서장 또는 해양경찰서장에게 제1항에 따른 범칙자 적발보고서 사본을 발송하여야 한다. <개정 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>
