해양수산발전 기본법 제36조(통계의 작성ㆍ관리)

① 해양수산부장관은 해양수산발전에 관한 시책의 효율적 수립을 위하여 필요한 해양수산 관련 통계를 작성ㆍ관리하여야 한다.

② 해양수산부장관은 제1항에 따른 통계를 작성ㆍ관리하기 위하여 관련 공공기관의 장, 해양수산업을 영위하는 자에게 필요한 자료와 정보의 제공을 요청할 수 있다.

③ 해양수산부장관은 제1항에 따른 통계의 작성ㆍ관리에 관한 업무의 전부 또는 일부를 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 전문성이 있는 기관을 지정하여 수행하게 할 수 있다.

④ 제1항에 따른 통계의 작성ㆍ관리에 관하여 이 법에서 정한 것을 제외하고는 「통계법」을 준용한다.
