한국진도개 보호ㆍ육성법 제7조(심사)

① 보호지구에서 개를 소유하거나 관리하는 자(이하 "소유자등"이라 한다)는 군수가 위촉하는 사람으로부터 조례로 정하는 기한까지 진도개의 혈통 및 표준체형에 관한 심사를 받아야 한다. 다만, 불임시술 또는 거세(去勢)를 하여 번식능력이 없는 개의 경우에는 그러하지 아니하다.

② 제1항에 따른 심사의 방법ㆍ기준ㆍ절차 및 위촉 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 위원회의 심의를 거쳐 군수가 정하여 고시한다.
