한국연구재단법 제6조(임원 등)

① 재단에 임원으로서 이사장 1명을 포함한 15명 이내의 이사와 감사 1명을 둔다.

② 임원은 「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 및 정관으로 정하는 바에 따라 임면한다.

(2) Officers오^f퍼서즈 shall섈 be비 appointed어포인티드 and앤드 dismissed디스미스트 as애즈 prescribed프^r리스크^r라이브드 by바이 the^ð디 Act액트 on안 the^ð더 Management매너지먼트 of어^v브 Public퍼블릭 Institutions인스티투션즈 and앤드 the^ð디 articles아터클즈 of어^v브 incorporation.인코퍼^r레이션

③ 재적이사의 3분의 2 이상은 「대한민국학술원법」에 따른 대한민국학술원, 「기초연구진흥 및 기술개발지원에 관한 법률」 제9조에 따른 한국과학기술한림원 등 학술 및 연구개발 관련 기관ㆍ단체에서 추천받은 후보 중에서 선임되어야 한다. <개정 2011.3.9>

④ 이사장의 임기는 3년으로 하고, 이사와 감사의 임기는 2년으로 하되, 각각 1년 단위로 연임할 수 있다.

⑤ 이사장과 감사를 제외한 임원은 비상근으로 한다.

⑥ 제3항에 따른 학술 및 연구개발 관련 기관ㆍ단체의 선정 및 절차에 관하여 필요한 사항은 대통령령으로 정한다.
