초ㆍ중등교육법 시행령 제83조(선발고사방법)

①제82조에 따른 선발고사는 중학교 교육과정의 수준과 범위를 벗어나지 아니하는 범위에서 중학교의 모든 교과에 대하여 실시하되, 입학전형의 실시권자가 학교 설립 또는 지정 목적 및 교육과정운영 등을 위하여 특히 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 그 중 일부교과를 제외할 수 있다. <개정 2009.3.27>

②선발고사는 필기고사로 하되, 체육교과에 대해서는 체력검사로 할 수 있다. 다만, 지체장애인에 대한 체육교과평정은 체력검사 외의 다른 방법으로 한다. <개정 2021.3.23>
