지진ㆍ지진해일ㆍ화산의 관측 및 경보에 관한 법률 제13조(인공지진의 탐지, 분석 및 통보)

① 기상청장은 인공지진과 이에 따라 수반되는 각종 현상을 탐지ㆍ분석하고 그 결과를 관계 기관에 통보하여야 하며, 필요하다고 인정할 때에는 보도기관 또는 인터넷 홈페이지를 이용하거나 다른 적절한 방법을 통하여 관련 정보를 발표할 수 있다.

② 기상청장은 인공지진이 의심되거나 관측되었을 때에는 관계 중앙행정기관과 긴밀한 협조체제를 유지하여야 한다.

③ 제1항에 따른 인공지진의 탐지ㆍ분석 방법, 통보 대상, 통보 내용 및 방법 등에 관하여 필요한 사항은 환경부령으로 정한다.
