지방세법 제22조(등기자료의 통보)

① 등기ㆍ등록관서의 장은 취득세가 납부되지 아니하였거나 납부부족액을 발견하였을 때에는 대통령령으로 정하는 바에 따라 납세지를 관할하는 지방자치단체의 장에게 통보하여야 한다.

② 등기ㆍ등록관서의 장이 등기ㆍ등록을 마친 경우에는 취득세의 납세지를 관할하는 지방자치단체의 장에게 그 등기ㆍ등록의 신청서 부본(副本)에 접수연월일 및 접수번호를 기재하여 등기ㆍ등록일부터 7일 내에 통보하여야 한다. 다만, 등기ㆍ등록사업을 전산처리하는 경우에는 전산처리된 등기ㆍ등록자료를 행정안전부령으로 정하는 바에 따라 통보하여야 한다. <개정 2013.3.23, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>

③ 「자동차관리법」 제5조에 따라 자동차의 사용본거지를 관할하지 아니하는 지방자치단체의 장이 자동차의 등록사무(신규등록, 변경등록 및 이전등록을 말한다)를 처리한 경우에는 자동차의 취득가격 등 행정안전부령으로 정하는 사항을 다음 달 10일까지 자동차의 사용본거지를 관할하는 지방자치단체의 장에게 통보하여야 한다. <신설 2014.1.1, 2014.11.19, 2017.7.26>
