주한미군기지 이전에 따른 평택시 등의 지원 등에 관한 특별법 제1조(목적)

이 법은 주한미군지위협정, 대한민국과미합중국간의미합중국군대의서울지역으로부터의이전에관한협정 및 대한민국과미합중국간의연합토지관리계획협정에 근거하여 주한미군의 기지이전을 위한 시설사업을 원활하게 시행하고, 주한미군의 기지가 이전되는 평택시 등 지방자치단체에 대한 지원을 통하여 지역발전을 촉진하며, 이전지역 주민의 권익을 보호하기 위하여 필요한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.
