Act on the Protection, Use, etc. of Location Information, Article 34 (Promotion of Standardization)

①과학기술정보통신부장관과 방송미디어통신위원회는 관계중앙행정기관의 장과 협의를 거쳐 위치정보의 보호 및 이용을 위한 위치정보의 수집ㆍ이용 또는 제공에 관한 표준을 정하여 고시할 수 있다. 다만, 「산업표준화법」 제12조에 따른 한국산업표준이 제정되어 있는 사항에 대하여는 그 표준에 따른다. <개정 2007.5.25, 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26, 2025.10.1>

②과학기술정보통신부장관과 방송미디어통신위원회는 위치정보사업자등 또는 위치정보와 관련된 제품을 제조하거나 공급하는 자에게 제1항에 따른 표준의 준수를 권고할 수 있다. <개정 2008.2.29, 2013.3.23, 2017.7.26, 2020.6.9, 2025.10.1>

③ 제1항에 따른 표준화의 대상은 다음 각 호와 같다. <개정 2009.3.13>
