Insurance Business Act, Article 9 (Capital or Fund)

① 보험회사는 300억원 이상의 자본금 또는 기금을 납입함으로써 보험업을 시작할 수 있다. 다만, 보험회사가 제4조제1항에 따른 보험종목의 일부만을 취급하려는 경우에는 50억원 이상의 범위에서 대통령령으로 자본금 또는 기금의 액수를 다르게 정할 수 있다.

② 제1항에도 불구하고 모집수단 또는 모집상품의 종류ㆍ규모 등이 한정된 보험회사로서 다음 각 호의 어느 하나에 해당하는 보험회사는 다음 각 호의 구분에 따른 금액 이상의 자본금 또는 기금을 납입함으로써 보험업을 시작할 수 있다. <개정 2020.12.8>
