군인사법 시행령 제18조(병과장 보직)

① 참모총장은 법 제21조제3항에 따른 전직(轉職)을 위하여 전직 인원 등이 포함된 전직계획을 수립하여야 한다.

② 법 제21조제3항에 따른 전직은 제22조제2항에 따라 승인된 진급 예정 인원의 범위에서 제1항의 전직계획에 따라 한다.

③ 법 제21조제3항에 따른 전직은 1회로 한정하며, 같은 항 본문에 따라 병과장이 유사 직위에 전직되는 경우에는 현재 직위보다 낮은 직위에 보직될 수 없다. <개정 2026.8.3>

④ 법 제21조제3항 본문에 따른 "유사한 계통의 직위"는 해당 병과장의 전공 분야와 같은 계통의 직무 분야로 한다.
