① 위원회의 원활한 업무수행을 지원하기 위하여 법 제6조에 따라 과학기술정보통신부에 사무기구를 둔다. <개정 2017.7.26>

② 제1항에 따른 사무기구의 장은 과학기술정보통신부의 일반직공무원 중에서 과학기술정보통신부장관이 임명한다. <개정 2025.10.1>

③ 과학기술정보통신부장관은 사무기구 운영을 위하여 필요한 경우 관계 행정기관과 그 밖의 관계 기관ㆍ단체 등에 대하여 소속 공무원이나 임직원의 파견을 요청할 수 있다. <개정 2025.10.1>
