5ㆍ18민주유공자예우 및 단체설립에 관한 법률 제55조(법인격)

① 5ㆍ18민주유공자와 그 유족이 친목을 도모하고 회원의 권익을 향상하기 위하여 5ㆍ18민주화운동부상자회, 5ㆍ18민주유공자유족회, 5ㆍ18민주화운동공로자회(이하 "각 단체"라 한다)를 둔다.

(1) The^ð디 Association어소우시에이션 of어^v브 Persons퍼슨즈 Injured인저드 in인 the^ð더 May메이 18 Democratic데머크^r래틱 Uprising,어프^r라이징 the^ð디 Association어소우시에이션 of어^v브 Bereaved버^r리^v브드 Families^f패멀리즈 of어^v브 Persons퍼슨즈 of어^v브 Merit메^r릿 in인 the^ð더 May메이 18 Democratic데머크^r래틱 Uprising,어프^r라이징 and앤드 the^ð디 Association어소우시에이션 of어^v브 Persons퍼슨즈 of어^v브 Service서^v비스 in인 the^ð더 May메이 18 Democratic데머크^r래틱 Uprising어프^r라이징 (hereinafter히^r리내^f프터 referred^r러^f퍼드 to투 as애즈 the^ð디 "organizations")오거너제이션즈 shall섈 be비 established이스태블리시트 to투 promote프^r러모우트 friendship^f프^r렌드쉽 and앤드 improve임프^r루^v브 the^ð더 rights^r라잇츠 and앤드 interests인트^r러스츠 of어^v브 members멤버즈 among어멍 persons퍼슨즈 of어^v브 merit메^r릿 in인 the^ð더 May메이 18 Democratic데머크^r래틱 Uprising어프^r라이징 and앤드 their^ð데어 bereaved버^r리^v브드 families.^f패멀리즈

② 각 단체는 법인으로 한다.

(2) The^ð디 organizations오거너제이션즈 shall섈 be비 corporations.코퍼^r레이션즈

③ 각 단체는 정관을 작성하여 국가보훈부장관의 인가를 받아 그 본부의 소재지에서 설립등기를 함으로써 성립한다. <개정 2023.3.4>

(3) The^ð디 organizations오거너제이션즈 shall섈 be비 established이스태블리시트 by바이 preparing프^r리페^r링 articles아터클즈 of어^v브 incorporation,인코퍼^r레이션 obtaining어브테이닝 the^ð디 authorization오^θ써^r러제이션 of어^v브 the^ð더 Minister미너스터 of어^v브 Patriots페이트^r리엇츠 and앤드 Veterans^v베터^r런즈 Affairs,어^f페어즈 and앤드 completing컴플리팅 registration^r레지스트^r레이션 of어^v브 establishment이스태블리시먼트 at앳 the^ð더 location로케이션 of어^v브 their^ð데어 headquarters.헤드쿼터즈

④ 각 단체에 대하여 이 법에 규정된 것을 제외하고는 「민법」 중 사단법인에 관한 규정을 준용한다.
