2018 평창 동계올림픽대회 및 동계패럴림픽대회 지원 등에 관한 특별법 제6조(국가 등의 지원)

① 조직위원회는 국가ㆍ지방자치단체ㆍ공공기관(「공공기관의 운영에 관한 법률」 제4조에 따른 공공기관을 말한다. 이하 같다)ㆍ법인ㆍ단체 등에게 행정적ㆍ재정적인 협조 및 지원과 그 밖에 필요한 편의제공을 요청할 수 있으며, 해당 기관은 특별한 사유가 없는 한 이에 따라야 한다.

② 국가 또는 지방자치단체는 조직위원회의 설치ㆍ운영과 대회의 준비ㆍ운영에 필요한 예산을 지원할 수 있다.

③ 국가ㆍ지방자치단체 및 조직위원회는 대회의 성공적 개최를 위하여 국민참여 및 문화국민의식 등을 고취하기 위한 민간추진운동을 지원할 수 있다.
