화학무기ㆍ생물무기의 금지와 특정화학물질ㆍ생물작용제 등의 제조ㆍ수출입 규제 등에 관한 법률 제1조(목적)

이 법은 「화학무기의 개발ㆍ생산ㆍ비축ㆍ사용 금지 및 폐기에 관한 협약」 및 「세균무기(생물무기) 및 독소무기의 개발ㆍ생산 및 비축의 금지와 그 폐기에 관한 협약」의 시행과 그 밖에 화학무기 또는 생물무기의 금지ㆍ규제에 관하여 국제적으로 부담하는 의무의 이행을 위하여 화학무기와 생물무기의 제조 등을 금지하고 화학무기와 생물무기의 제조에 이용될 수 있는 특정화학물질ㆍ생물작용제 또는 독소의 제조ㆍ수출입 규제 등을 하는 데에 필요한 사항을 규정함을 목적으로 한다.
